POSTPARTUM SUPPORT SCHOLARSHIP
Continuing Priscilla’s Legacy, One Mother at a Time
In 2021, I lost my beautiful cousin, Priscilla, after a long battle with mental health challenges. She was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, and mother to two beautiful girls.
Even through her own challenges, Priscilla rarely complained. She had a kind and compassionate spirit that touched the lives of so many around her. Her ability to care for others, even in difficult seasons, left a lasting impact on everyone who knew her.
To honor her memory, I created Priscilla’s Scholarship Fund. It is my way of carrying forward her legacy of compassion by helping make postpartum support more accessible to families who may not otherwise be able to afford the full cost of care.
Through this scholarship, families receive reduced-cost postpartum doula services, allowing more parents to access the support, education, and encouragement they deserve during the postpartum period. Scholarship awards vary based on need and available funding.
Every family supported through this fund becomes part of Priscilla’s story—a story of kindness, compassion, and caring for others. Through every mother we serve, her legacy continues to make a difference.
WHY THIS FUND MATTERS
Every Mother Deserves to Feel Supported
As a postpartum doula, I have met many families who desperately wanted support but simply couldn’t afford the full cost of care. No mother should have to navigate the challenges of postpartum recovery feeling alone because of financial limitations.
Priscilla’s Scholarship Fund was created to honor Priscilla’s legacy of compassion while helping bridge that gap for families in need. Through this fund, we are able to make postpartum support more accessible, ensuring more mothers receive the encouragement, education, and practical help they deserve during one of life’s most vulnerable transitions.
HOW THE SCHOLARSHIP WORKS
Support That Meets Your Family Where You Are
Priscilla’s Scholarship Fund provides reduced-cost postpartum doula services for qualifying families. Applications are reviewed individually, taking into consideration factors such as financial need, family circumstances, available support systems, and available scholarship funding.
Scholarship awards vary and are applied as a discount toward postpartum doula services. Because funding is limited, assistance cannot be guaranteed for every applicant. All applications are reviewed with care, compassion, and confidentiality.
